1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you purchase a paid TooDesktop subscription and decide it isn't right for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the original charge. This applies to:
- Your first-ever paid subscription purchase, and
- Each subsequent annual renewal (you have 14 days from the renewal charge to request a refund of that renewal).
Monthly renewals after your first month are not refundable — you can cancel from your account at any time to stop further charges.
2. What's eligible for a refund
- Unused or lightly used paid subscriptions within the 14-day window.
- Charges resulting from a clear billing error (duplicate charge, wrong plan, incorrect amount).
- Failure of a core feature that we cannot reasonably fix within a reasonable time.
3. What's not eligible
- Refund requests made more than 14 days after the charge.
- Monthly subscription renewals after your first paid month.
- Accounts that were suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
- Heavily-used accounts (for example, you've built and distributed many production apps using the Service) where the request appears to be an attempt to use the Service for free.
- Any third-party fees (e.g. code-signing certificates, app-store fees, payment processor charges) that we did not directly receive.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@toodesktop.com from the email address on your account with:
- Your account email.
- The date and amount of the charge you'd like refunded.
- A short note describing the reason (this helps us improve the product).
You can also cancel future charges yourself at any time from Account → Billing in your dashboard.
5. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Once we issue the refund, it typically appears in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
If we refund a subscription, your access to paid features ends immediately and your account reverts to the free tier (if available) or becomes inactive.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe you've been charged in error, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve issues faster than a chargeback can. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended and any associated apps being de-licensed.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates apply to charges made after the new "Last updated" date above. Refund requests for older charges are governed by the policy that was in effect at the time of the charge.
