Who is TooDesktop for?
If you have a web app and want to give users a real desktop install — tray icon, native window controls, OS shortcuts — TooDesktop is built for you. No prior Electron experience required.
What does the free trial include?
14 days of access with up to 3 builds total — enough to wrap a site, tune the theme, and ship a real installer. Includes App Studio, cross-platform installers, and the Action Builder (tray, shortcuts). The trial runs through Paddle, so a card is required up front; you won't be charged until day 15, and cancelling anytime in the trial window costs nothing. Need more builds or every feature? Upgrade to Monthly or Lifetime mid-trial.
How is this different from raw Electron?
Electron is the runtime. TooDesktop is the visual builder on top: it wires preload bridges, packages installers, handles code-signing config, and gives you a theme and action graph — all the parts you'd otherwise hand-write per project.
What does "Lifetime" actually mean?
You pay $100 once and receive every TooDesktop update we ship, forever. No subscription renews. If we ever sunset the product, you keep the last working version and can export your projects as plain Electron source.
I already use electron-builder. Can I migrate?
Yes. Import an existing project and TooDesktop reads your electron-builder.yml. Your config stays as-is; the visual editor just makes it easier to maintain.
Do you collect data from my apps or builds?
No app telemetry by default. TooDesktop itself collects anonymous usage to improve the builder — fully opt-out in Settings. Your projects, source code, and build outputs never leave your machine.
